My place of tabula rasa 1963 with the elemental conditions of planet earth is the currently termed nation state of the Neitherlands, or Holland. After a year of residing in an icy cool northern land, my dear parents migrated to the great southern land, referred to from colonial time as Australia. A sojourn beginning in Sydney of the East Coast landed my primordial artistic self on a property between Rolling stone and Balgal beach, in tropical Far North Queensland. Its there I developed a sense for dry earth, heaped windrows of trees, pineapple plants, livestock, and wilderness. Its foundational to my public advocated style which I further theorize in other articles as syncretic imaginative realism.
